  • Our Services - Commission

The commission process allows both the client and the artist to work closely together to attain a unique, quality artwork that both enhances and defines a space.
We aim to provide our clients with an excellent level of care throughout all phases of the sculpting process.

    PHASE 1:

The Initial Consultation often takes place at ISHI BUKI's studio or at the location for the sculpture. We aim to identify and assess your site's requirements and to discuss with you possible approaches that may be considered.
Photographs and plans of the site are useful but not essential.

    PHASE 2:

We now develop the initial concepts and determine a Proposal of Costs. A proposal fee may be requested at this stage, reflecting the additional time we need to conduct further research, produce concept drawings or ascertain delivery and installation requirements. If you are choosing from current stock items this fee will be wavered. The proposal will outline indicative prices for each concept.

    PHASE 3:

Confirmation of the Commission as a written proposal is now supplied. This will detail the final sculpture concept selected by you and included delivery and installation procedures.
If you choose to proceed, the proposal fee already paid will be deducted from the price of the sculpture.

    PHASE 4:

The Sculptural Process now commences. We warmly encourage you to be involved in this exciting phase by visiting or viewing the progress of the sculpture.

    PHASE 5:

The Delivery and Installation of the sculpture will be completed.
